3 Ways to Find Balance & Increase Energy as a Working Parent
Fill Your Cup
The cup can be a symbol of many things… your capacity or happiness or energy.
And while this concept of keeping your cup full can connect with anyone at any stage in life, it’s critically important for parents to get it. Because we are the examples for our kids.
The Mother who puts herself last ends up doing things out of resentment. Things she would have done willingly, lovingly, and freely, are instead coming from bitter obligation. In order to actually GIVE more (to your kids, your partner, work, friends, etc), you need to give yourself more first. You need to prioritize yourself in the right way and fill your cup.
"It’s impossible to feel fun, light, playful and free when our cups are dry. We need to find the ways to fill our cup so much that it overflows."
Moms who live in alignment and express their natural gifts, as well as ground themselves with what they require, and surround themselves with people who matter, will fill their cups so much that it overflows.
Prioritizing themselves in the right way allows them to be better partners and more present moms, giving space and inspiration for others to live their best lives… the ripple effect is endless.
